Weekend trip Part B: A day trip to Anglesey, Wales

Welcome back! Following our rendezvous with the sea in the beautiful city of Llandudno on Saturday, the next day we set out at about 10am from our home and reached Llandwyn island located in Anglesey at about 12:30pm. It took us a little longer to reach here as it’s a little far from Manchester compared to Llandudno. Llanddwyn is not quite an island because it is attached to the mainland at all but the highest tides. It provides excellent views of Snowdonia and the Lleyn Peninsula and is part of the Newborough Warren National Nature Reserve. Once at the parking lot, you need to get ready to make your way up to the Tŵr Mawr Lighthouse. I would strongly advise  carrying your sunglasses and wearing comfortable shoes as it's quite a long trek to the point. Visit our  Facebook Page , Follow us on  Instagram,  to see more such wonderful pictorial memories from our trips. Destination One: St. Dwynwen The name Llanddwyn means "The church of St. Dwynwen". She is the Welsh

Sourav speaks:
An IT professional by work and an explorer at heart I have always dreamed of being able to travel the world and discover new places and learn new stories. Planned trips are something I swear by as it helps one to maximize time and explore the place better. I usually love to delve deep into researching about the place that I wish to make a trip to. As much as I love traveling in groups, I also admire solo travel.
My travel mantra is “Low on the expense, High on the Experience“. We started this blog to reach out to like-minded travelers and share our trip experiences and aid them in planning and enjoying their trips better.
·      Ahana speaks:

Being a Sociology teacher by profession, my interests have always been in learning about the different cultures, discovering the diverse societies, their rich and varied historical contexts and of course meeting new people. Travel is the best way to do so. I love to indulge in the historical aspects of every place that we visit. I love to dig deeper into the Why(s) and how(s) of each place and society that we get to venture into. Sometimes even getting lost in a beautiful ancient village would be perhaps the best way to discover it more!

Travel mantra for me is "Creating memories. Cherishing them for the lifetime" For me the purpose of the blog was to help people experience the stories that we share about a trip in person. Come back and share with us their experiences. Thus in that way, we connect and bond with more people even if that is via textual language only! :)
